Among many other functions, MyRent has a very special one, meant to give your brain, fingers and eyes some time to rest. The email templates function that MyRent has to offer is aimed not only at making it easier to notify your customers without sounding like a robot, but it also automatically sends any necessary information and documents, just the way you set it up. And you can change the text of any and all templates at any moment!

TEMPLATE TYPES

MyRent is capable of storing several types of email templates, including welcome mails, payment requests, payment reminders, arrival time reminders, and review requests. Each template can be filled with “fill in the blanks” type of keywords, allowing the template to contain ready-to-fill spots for names, times, dates, prices, percentage, and so on, but a keyword may target any piece of information you think important enough to warrant being templated.

WELCOME MAIL

The goal of a welcome mail is very simple – it’s here to welcome your guests. It most often contains just some kind words and some information about the locale.

REVIEW REQUEST

We all do it, and there’s no shame in it. It’s just business. But writing emails to every guest personally may seem tedious and tiring. So ,eliminate that by having a neat little template prepared just for that occasion.

ARRIVAL TIME REMINDERS

This option exists solely to make sure your guests arrive on time. This type of template is meant to remind your guests at which times checking in is possible, as well as what time they are expected to arrive.

PAYMENT REQUESTS

As the name says, the main and only point of this email is to request payment from the client. The template is made so that the generated email contains all the payment and billing information necessary for the client to proceed with the transaction. Once the payments go through, your clients will receive a digital voucher to claim their stay. This digital voucher email can also be templated and sent at a single click.

PAYMENT REMINDERS

Once your client has accepted the offer, they become your guests. And guests can sometimes forget to pay, so a friendly reminder is never a bad thing. Especially when you don’t want to feel like a Scrooge by writing every single one personally.

COMPLETE TEMPLATE

PERSONALIZATION & INTEGRATION

You can completely personalize your templates using all of the information you have stored on your clients’ reservations. The templates can also be configured to send all sorts of .pdf and .doc files containing any information you consider important, from directions on how to reach your rental to whole brochures about your rental’s surrounding locale.

The template system also has a built-in integration with Microsoft Word, so anything you write and format in MS Word will be completely carried over into the template!

MULTI-LANGUAGE FUNCTIONALITY

SMS GENERATOR

It is true that MyRent’s SMS generator is limited to 160 symbols without spaces, i.e. a single page SMS, but this is an awesome option if you know your clients are going somewhere where cellular coverage is bad, or if you wish to remind your guests of something; or, sometimes, you’re not sure if the client will get the email in time, and you have to notify them of something immediately. Neat, isn’t it?
